Than a little romantic angst and the dialogue is far from spectacular Albeit memorable I ll pee on you is an interesting threat coming from a woman It is funny though I have my doubts that it was meant to be It reads a bit like a telenovela dramatic lots of angst filled sexrelationship bits and very overdrawn bad guys who clearly have the most funMost of the novel is spent passing time in one safe house or another and as xpected there is one great way of passing time ie SexMorgan s vampires are far from glittery Their lack of hygiene is horrific and not well xplained by their resistance to disease How becoming difficult to kill Elisabeth Shue 135 Success Facts - Everything You Need to Know about Elisabeth Shue euates with losing table manners baffles me Regardless Occam is anntertaining anti hero who really loves to irritate people I wasn t too impressed by June Coffin in part because I don t The Man Without a Face euate trash talk with strength Neither does she use her abilities for anything interesting She does come across as smarter than Sam Haiin who regardless of the number of times he s described as the world s smartest man comes across as merely arrogant and oblivious albeit skilled at using his shifting abilities to appear a buxom Like one of those movies that are so cheesy they are fun to watch The Bloody City is a fun way to pass the time but definitely not worth a second read35The Bloody City is the second Siren s Song novel I received a copy of The Bloody City from the publisher and netgalleycom inxchange for an honest review Crittermom The Bloody City is fun but forgettable Good fast paced paranormalurban fiction and some fresh ideas I didn t know about the first book so occasionally I was a little lost but the storytelling was so good I still kept readingDark with dgy characters I will definitely read another in this seriesI received a Review Copy by NetGalley in xchange for an honest revie.
