Acters would flitter in their thoughts between now and then all in the one paragraph in a vague prose That coupled with the slower paced storyline made it for a very tedious read The characters were excellent and I was interested in them as well as the town but too often I needed to re read a paragraph and figure it out Linda Little is an amazing writer Her way with words is unparalleled The hook of a novel about a bull rider lured me in but the bull riding references wouldn t fill a page and the novel itself was depressing I ust could not get into this.
